Tamryn McDermott

I recently moved to Logan, Utah to join the Art + Design faculty at Utah State University as an Assistant Professor of Art Education. I have an MFA in Fibers and Sculpture from the University of Missouri - Columbia, and a PhD in Arts Administration, Education and Policy from The Ohio State University.  I have exhibited work at the BlackRock Center for the Art, Germantown, MD; Torpedo Factory, Alexandria, VA; University of St. Louis Art Museum, St. Louis, MO; and the Crane Arts, Ice Box Project Space, Philadelphia, PA, among many others.  I have received awards including the Creative Promise Award from the Surface Design Association (SDA), The Verna Wulfenkammer Fellowship and Graduate School Fellowship from the University of Missouri, and a fellowship from The Ohio State University.
