I am an artist currently living and working in Alexandria, Virginia. I have an MFA in Fibers and Sculpture and am currently teaching 3D foundations and sculpture at George Mason University. I have exhibited work at the BlackRock Center for the Art, Germantown, MD; Torpedo Factory, Alexandria, VA; University of St. Louis Art Museum, St. Louis, MO; and the Crane Arts, Ice Box Project Space, Philadelphia, PA, among many others. I have received awards including the 2013 Creative Promise Award from the Surface Design Association (SDA), The Verna Wulfenkammer Fellowship and Graduate School Fellowship from the University of Missouri, and Second Place in the Student Exhibition at the 2013 Surface Design Conference in San Antonio, TX. Most recently I was selected for an artist residency at The Craft Alliance in St. Louis for the summer of 2015.
